What does ECO mean on an electric car?

ECO of electric vehicle stands for energy-saving mode. After the electric vehicle starts ECO, the driving computer will reduce the sensitivity to human operation reaction, and control the acceleration and driving state of the vehicle more according to the fuel-saving mode, so that the electric vehicle can save more energy.

There is a switch in economy mode. After the driver triggers the switch, even if the accelerator is slammed, the vehicle still maintains a moderate acceleration state, and it is difficult for the vehicle to reach a higher engine speed. Even if you step on the accelerator to the end, it will be slow to continue to speed up after the speed exceeds the economic speed.

The name eco is a combination of ecology, conservation and optimization.

The principle of EcO mode:

Change the characteristics of the accelerator pedal: for example, in the standard mode, the accelerator stroke and the accelerator opening are in one-to-one correspondence, that is, accelerator depression 10% and accelerator opening10%; If you step on the accelerator halfway, the accelerator will also open halfway!

After switching to EcO mode, 10% may be turned on only 5% when the accelerator is depressed, and 40% when the accelerator is depressed halfway! So this is the difference between EcO mode and standard mode! The main purpose is to reduce the opening range of the throttle, inhibit air intake, and thus limit the speed!
