What is the relationship between temperature and altitude?
Generally, every time 100m rises, the temperature drops by 0.6 degrees Celsius.
Take the main peak of Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou as an example, with an altitude of about 1500m. If the air temperature in the urban plain is 30℃, it will drop by 1500÷ 100×0.6=9℃, only about 2 1℃.
Therefore, when climbing the mountain, you should prepare clothes to avoid physical discomfort caused by cooling.
In the extended data, the air pressure everywhere decreases with the elevation-the air pressure is the atmospheric pressure acting on the unit area, which is numerically equal to the gravity on the vertical air column in the unit area (the higher the altitude, the shorter the air column) (as shown in the above figure).
At high altitude, if you need to cook food, because the air pressure is low, you need to use electric appliances such as pressure cooker to cook, otherwise the water will not boil and the food will not be cooked well.
