Climate types and characteristics in Anhui province

Anhui climate type: the north of Huaihe River belongs to warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate, and the south of Huaihe River belongs to sub-humid monsoon climate.

The climate is characterized by obvious monsoon, distinct seasons, warm and changeable spring, concentrated rain in summer, crisp autumn and cold winter.

Anhui province is in the transition zone from subtropical zone to warm temperate zone, with mild and humid climate and distinct four seasons. The annual average temperature in the whole province is 13℃- 16℃.
