How to measure acceleration by air cushion guide rail?

Air cushion guide rail uses air source to pump compressed air into the cavity of the guide rail, and the air flow is ejected from the small hole on the surface of the guide rail, forming a thin film between the guide rail and the slider, so that the slider is suspended, and the slider moves approximately linearly on the guide rail without resistance. This is a mechanical experimental device with the least resistance.

Using the air cushion guide device, the initial speed of the slider passing through the first photoelectric gate and the final speed of the slider passing through the second photoelectric gate can be measured, and then the distance s between the two photoelectric gates can be measured, so as to calculate the acceleration.
