How to clean the throttle?

Question 1: Why should the throttle be cleaned regularly? A: Because the EFI engine is in operation, a small part of the exhaust gas generated by in-cylinder combustion will generate carbon deposition at the throttle body through the intake valve and intake pipe. In addition, after the air passes through the air filter (especially the air filter that has been used for a long time), impurities will remain in the throttle. These dirt accumulate, which will form dirt on the throttle body for a long time, which will lead to the increase of throttle switch resistance and unstable engine idle speed. At this time, it is necessary to pay attention to cleaning the throttle. A: If it is a small amount of black tail gas, it is not a big problem. However, it should be noted that black smoke indicates that the engine mixture is too rich and the combustion is not sufficient. This phenomenon may be caused by insufficient air intake due to unclean air filter, or carburetor failure, or spark plug damage, ignition coil failure and so on. These problems will eventually lead to the decline of engine power, and the car will feel slow and dull when driving. Due to long-term use, the throttle valve will also scale, which will affect the opening and closing of the throttle valve and cause the engine to fail to work normally. It is recommended to check whether there is scale in the throttle cylinder when cleaning the air filter. If there is scale, you can clean it with carburetor cleaner. Throttle is the most important component in today's EFI automobile engine system. Its upper part is the air filter, and the lower part is the engine block, which is the throat of the automobile engine. Whether the acceleration of a car is flexible is closely related to the cleanliness of the throttle. The main cause of throttle scaling is oil and gas, followed by particles and moisture in the air. In other words, using qualified air filter and removing the crankcase ventilation pipe will slow down the throttle scaling. The crankshaft is built in the crankcase, and the lower part is connected with the oil bottom. The working temperature of this part is about 100 ~ 180. Engine oil will be heated and volatilized during use. The longer the use time, the higher the temperature and the stronger the volatilization. In addition, the compressed gas of the cylinder will squeeze into the crankcase through the gap of the piston ring, so there must be a channel for the gas to escape, otherwise the oil bottom will form positive pressure. The reason why the crankcase ventilation pipe is connected to the throttle valve is the requirement of environmental protection on the one hand, and the gas is pumped out of the crankcase by using the negative pressure of intake air on the other hand. When the oily steam reaches the intake pipe and cools, the oil in it will condense on the intake and throttle valve, and then the carbon deposit in the steam will also be deposited on these parts. Because the gap where the throttle valve is opened has the largest air flow, small space and low gas temperature, this part is the easiest to condense. Therefore, how long the throttle will be stolen depends on the quality of the air filter, the brand and quality of the engine oil used, the condition of the driving section, the temperature, the working temperature of the engine, driving habits and so on. In addition, if the throttle is too dirty, it will also cause increased fuel consumption, unstable waiting speed, abnormal start and so on.

Question 2: How to judge whether the throttle of the vehicle needs cleaning? How to clean ordinary vehicles without vacuum pumps? Idle speed is unstable, and the speed of turning on the air conditioner drops directly. That's basically a dirty throttle.

When the car with vacuum pump is started, the fuel filler door bursts and the idle speed is unstable. That may be because the throttle is dirty.

How to wash the throttle? Spray the cloth with special cleaning agent, then wipe the throttle valve plate and clean it. The cable throttle needs to be removed and cleaned with idle motor.

Question 3: What are the steps and precautions for cleaning the throttle? Pay attention to this question:

If there is too much sludge in the accelerator, it may cause poor engine acceleration and increase fuel consumption, which is a big worry for the owner. What should I do if the throttle is dirty? Just clean it up It's quick to go to the 4S shop.

This can be done, but don't you have to go to the 4S shop to clean it every time? Actually, you don't have to. You can handle it yourself. Just don't forget to initialize.

First, apply a little oil on the fixed metal beam ring to avoid slipping teeth during disassembly. [1] Remove the metal collar of the throttle hose. After the hose is removed, the left end is the position of the throttle. Remove the negative electrode of the battery, turn off the ignition switch, straighten the throttle plate, spray a small amount of "carburetor cleaner" into the throttle, and then carefully scrub it with polyester rag or high-spin "non-woven fabric". Deep in the throttle, you can clamp the rag and scrub it carefully where your hands can't reach it.

When cleaning the throttle valve, it is not necessary to disassemble it, but the sealing part of the inlet steam must be cleaned, and the idle motor must be disassembled for cleaning. There are advantages and disadvantages of cleaning nozzles by borrowing and disassembling. Generally speaking, the maintenance station suggests disassembling and washing, which can prevent other unnecessary waste, such as replacing the sealing ring after disassembling or installing other gaskets, or delaying the owner's time because of oil and gas leakage when disassembling.

After cleaning, the throttle will be initialized according to the disassembly procedure just now. After cleaning the throttle, it needs to be initialized, because the computer has a memory function when adjusting the throttle opening, because there was sludge blockage in the past. In order to ensure the air intake, the computer will automatically adjust the throttle opening to make the air intake in a normal state.

But there is no sludge blockage after cleaning. If the throttle valve still maintains its previous opening, it will cause excessive intake air. As a result, the engine will shake when starting, and the acceleration will be weak, and the engine fault light may light up.

Then why does the engine sometimes work normally without initialization after cleaning the throttle? That's because the throttle is not too dirty, and its intake has not changed much after cleaning. However, the change of the throttle valve after cleaning is invisible to the naked eye and needs to be initialized.

In fact, initialization is very simple. You can do it with a special computer or by hand, but it is not as fast as a computer, and sometimes it will fail. It doesn't matter if you fail. Do it again. According to different cars, there are two ways to initialize:

Initial method

The first is to turn on the second gear of the key, which is the gear indicated by the instrument to be fully lit. Then wait for 20 seconds, press the accelerator to the bottom, hold it for about 10 second, release the accelerator, turn off the ignition switch, pull out the key, and the initialization is complete.

The second is to turn on the key in the second gear and hold it for 30 seconds, then turn off the ignition switch and pull out the key. It should be noted that after the two methods are completed, it will take some time to try to ignite. Generally, you can wait 15-20 seconds, and then ignite to see if the refueling is normal and the engine fault light is off. If at first you don't succeed, do it again until you succeed. You can usually succeed once, at most twice.

But according to different cars, the method of restoration is different. Some cars must be initialized by a computer. In that case, the owner is advised to send the car to a shop with professional equipment for cleaning.

Question 4: When does the car clean the accelerator and when does it need to clean the oil circuit? Generally, the throttle is washed every 10,000 kilometers ... After running for 10,000 kilometers, the throttle will become dirty, which will affect the idle speed ... What about the car ... the oil circuit ... It is generally unnecessary to wash it. ~ because there is a gasoline filter. ~ change the gasoline filter.

Question 5: What are the steps to clean the throttle yourself? It should be noted that it can be dismantled or not.

Honeywell seems to have

Question 6: What is the performance of dirty throttle? How to clean it? In the initial stage, the dirty throttle is characterized by unstable idle speed at the start, or the engine speed drops to 500 rpm when the red light brakes, and occasionally it will stall. In severe cases, there will be no car, and the engine fault indicator light will be on. Cleaning the throttle valve is relatively simple. Remove the intake pipe, four throttle fixing bolts and two cooling water pipes, then unplug the throttle position sensor and remove the throttle body for cleaning. After cleaning the throttle, use Nissan special diagnostic instrument to learn idle speed.

Question 7: Is it harmful to clean the throttle frequently? Throttle is an important sensor of automobile. Dirty throttle will affect the intake combustion of the engine and need to be cleaned! However, frequent cleaning of the throttle will affect the service life of the sensor!

Question 8: How to clean the throttle of a car The throttle of a car is a device used to control the air flowing into the cylinder and generate negative pressure. After the vehicle runs for a period of time, the throttle will become dirty, which will make the idle speed of the vehicle unstable and increase fuel consumption. This article will teach you how to clean the throttle by yourself through an example. Note: As the downward air density of the piston decreases, a relative negative pressure is formed near the engine side of the throttle valve. The negative pressure generated behind the throttle can be used for some pneumatic booster devices, such as brake booster.

Let's take an old Tiida as an example to illustrate the whole process of throttle cleaning. First of all, if there is a plastic heat shield on the engine, it needs to be removed first.

When the hood is removed, we can usually see the throttle. There are some air pipes around the throttle. We need to remove these pipes and remember their positions clearly.

After removing the air line on the throttle, we can remove the whole throttle. Trent's throttle is fixed on the engine block with four bolts, and we can quickly remove it with suitable tools.

The side of the throttle near the combustion chamber is generally dirty with traces of black carbon deposition, which is the main part we need to clean.

Cleaning the throttle is mainly to remove carbon deposits on it. We can use special throttle washer fluid or cleaner. It should be noted here that the cleaning principle of this cleaning agent is to dissolve carbon deposit, and its composition is harmful to human body. It is best to wear gloves and masks when cleaning.

Spray the cleaner to the position with more carbon deposits on the throttle, and wait for about 5- 10 minutes to dissolve the carbon deposits. Using brushes can speed up the removal of carbon deposits.

When we see that the stain on the accelerator has completely dissolved, we can wipe the detergent inside the accelerator with a clean towel. The picture above shows the clean back of the throttle, with no traces of carbon deposition.

Install the cleaned throttle valve on the machine body according to the original position, and then install all air pipes to complete the whole process of cleaning the throttle valve. After all the hardware is installed, we need to initialize throttle. The following is the throttle initialization method of Tiida HR 16DE engine: 1. Turn on the second key. At this time, all the indicator lights on the instrument panel are on. Wait for 20 seconds. Press the accelerator to the end and hold it for about 10 second. Release the accelerator, turn off the ignition switch and pull out the key. 2. Turn on the second key for 30 seconds, then turn off the ignition switch and pull out the key, and the initialization is complete.

Question 9: How to clean the electronic throttle correctly? Plug in the key and step on the accelerator. Spray the throttle wall with carburetor cleaner or spray it on the cloth and wipe it by hand. Of course, you must remove the air intake software with a screwdriver. You can step on the pedal several times after cleaning. If the accelerator pedal doesn't respond, just turn on the negative battery 1 min and install it. Some models cannot be directly shorted to the negative electrode. 4S stores are generally clean, relatively simple and fast.
