Xi and Luoyang are both famous historical and cultural cities in China. Xi has the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and Luoyang has the world-famous Longmen Grottoes. Xi 'an has the ancient city wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, while Luoyang has Tian Zi Liu Jia and Baima Temple. Xi has a history of more than 5,000 years of civilization, a history of building a city of 3 100 years, and a history of building a capital of100 years. It is one of the four ancient capitals in China, one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation, and the starting point of the Silk Road. Luoyang was the capital of Xia Dynasty, the first dynasty in China. Thirteen dynasties established their capitals here in history, with a history of over 1500 years.

On the academic status of historical and cultural tourism resources and archaeology, they are equally divided. However, there are some differences between them, which makes Luoyang's tourism development slightly inferior to Xi's.

First, the differences in the utilization of cultural tourism resources.

Both cities have their own tourist attractions, rich in cultural tourism resources and can compete with each other. However, Xi 'an has done a very good job in the excavation and innovation protection of cultural resources. Traveling to Xi 'an is not a day trip in the traditional sense, but more of an experience: riding a bicycle around the ancient city wall, eating mutton buns and China buns in Huimin Street at night, and then performing in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, which is full of fulfillment. When leaving, there are still many cultural and creative souvenirs to take back, which is not boring at all. In contrast, Luoyang is still dominated by traditional tours.

Second, the differences in cultural brand promotion.

With the development of social economy, online publicity has become an indispensable part of tourism publicity. Xi 'an has done a good job in the application of Internet and big data in tourism. It not only created many scenic spots among network celebrities, but also made more and more people come and stay in Xi 'an, and expanded their influence through word-of-mouth on the Internet.

I think it is also an ancient historical and cultural capital. We should treat it with innovative development ideas, protect it and develop it well.
