How to detect whether there is carbon deposit in your car?
First of all, we need to know where carbon deposition will occur. There are four places, throttle, air inlet, oil nozzle and piston top. Now, no matter where the carbon deposits are cleaned, most of them are cleaned without disassembly. Unless the carbon deposition is very serious, it may need to be disassembled and cleaned, otherwise it will not be disassembled. Cleaning without disassembly can only be done in the above four places. If the carbon deposition is not serious, cleaning without disintegration is effective. Don't listen to people say it's useless not to open and clean. Because we checked, after washing, we checked the carbon deposit on the fuel injector and valve, and the washing was relatively clean.
Knowing where the carbon deposit is, we can check it. There are two inspection methods. One is to use your eyes, which is the most intuitive and important method. As long as the intake hose is removed, the throttle valve can be clearly seen, and the piston top and valve need to be examined by endoscope. But it takes a little experience to know how serious it is and whether it has any effect, otherwise you won't understand it after reading it. The second is to use computer detection. This method is relatively simple, without disassembling anything, but generally it can only detect the carbon deposition of the throttle. When idling, the larger the throttle opening is, the more serious the carbon deposition is.
When is it necessary to check whether there is carbon deposit? First of all, the car should be inspected after abnormal phenomena, including unstable idle speed, poor ignition, increased fuel consumption and decreased power, among which unstable idle speed and poor ignition are the most common and obvious. Secondly, it is necessary to check the car when it reaches a certain mileage, because some novice drivers don't think the car is abnormal. How many kilometers are checked? If you drive in the city most of the time, check it after 20 thousand kilometers, at least clean the throttle. If there are many suburbs or expressway, you can check it after 30,000 to 40,000 kilometers.
According to the usual experience, the carbon deposition of most cars is 20,000-40,000 kilometers, which varies greatly according to the usual road conditions. Some throttles over 10,000 kilometers are dirty enough to call the police, while others over 50,000 kilometers are not particularly dirty. Cleaning up carbon deposits does not need to be cleaned at the same time in the above four places, and it can be cleaned wherever it is dirty. Dirty throttle has the fastest speed and the highest cleaning frequency. If the number of kilometers is less, you can only clean the throttle. If there are more kilometers, the throttle is seriously dirty and can be cleaned at the same time. Generally speaking, if the throttle is dirty, the air intake will be dirty, and cleaning is ok. Whether to clean or not must be checked before making a decision. Don't write clean-up directly when you open a maintenance list to determine the project, because there is no fixed mileage requirement for cleaning up carbon deposits, which is likely to waste money. Only after inspection can we know whether it is dirty or not and whether it needs cleaning.
