What does it mean to plow during the day and get hemp at night?

The thirty-one ancient poem "Miscellaneous Stories of Four Seasons" means that people work in the fields during the day and make home textiles at night. In rural areas, there is a division of labor between men and women. Young children don't know how to farm and weave, but like adults, they also learn to grow fruits and vegetables under the shade of mulberry trees.

The poem "Thirty-one Years of Four Seasons" describes the ordinary life of hard-working people during the busy farming period in rural areas in summer. The last sentence describes the way children study and work like adults, which adds some childlike interest to the whole poem. The whole poem is fresh and delicate, full of fun.

Fan Chengda, a famous poet in Southern Song Dynasty, wrote a series of 60 poems when he lived in Shihu. Among them, they are classified into five seasons: spring, late spring, summer, autumn and winter, with 12 songs in each category.
