What season is Huangmei season?

Huangmei season is in May of the lunar calendar and early summer in late June of the solar calendar.

In addition to the "rainy season", there is also the "Huangmei season" in this period, both of which refer to the summer (especially the early summer) season. During the Huangmei season, because Jiangnan was in a rainy state most of the time, many ancient poets put their feelings on the scenery and wrote many excellent works.

Zhao Shixiu, an outstanding poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, wrote a poem about Huangmei season. The original sentence in the ancient poem is "It rains at home in Huangmei season, and frogs are everywhere in the grass pond". "Clown" has been incorporated into the Chinese textbook of China People's Education Edition because of its good expressive techniques and intriguing artistic conception.
