How to clean the accelerator of Geely Yuan Jing?

1. First, remove the plastic heat shield from the engine.

We can see the throttle when the engine hood is removed. There are some windpipes around the throttle. We need to dismantle these pipes and find out the location of each pipe.

3. After removing the gas pipe on the throttle, we can remove the whole throttle. The remote throttle is fixed on the engine block through four bolts, and we can quickly remove it with suitable tools.

4. The side of the throttle near the combustion chamber is generally dirty with black carbon deposit, which is the main part we need to clean.

5. Cleaning the throttle is mainly to remove the carbon deposit on it. We can use special throttle valve cleaning liquid or detergent. It should be noted here that the cleaning principle of this cleaning agent is to dissolve carbon deposits, and its composition is harmful to human body, so it is best to wear gloves and masks when cleaning.

6. Spray the cleaner to the position with more carbon deposits on the throttle, and wait for about 5- 10 minutes to dissolve the carbon deposits. Using brushes can speed up the removal of carbon deposits.

7. When we see that the stain on the accelerator has completely dissolved, we can wipe the detergent inside the accelerator with a clean towel.

8. Install the cleaned throttle valve on the engine block according to the original position? , and then install all air pipes to complete the whole cleaning process of the throttle valve. After all the hardware is installed, we need to initialize the throttle valve.
