When is Fu Tou?
Fu Tou custom: There is a folk saying: jiaozi lies on his head and pancakes spread eggs on his feet. It is said that it was related to the solar terms and the production technology of vegetable farmers at that time: agriculture was backward, there were no greenhouse facilities, and there were no more summer vegetables for the people to eat. When the summer solstice falls a few volts, the vegetables are green and yellow, and because the summer is extremely hot, sweaty people are willing to get some simple, light and refreshing meals at this time, so the custom of eating jiaozi, noodles and pancakes in midsummer is derived.
Jiaozi is also called Fu (Fu) Tie or Fu (Fu) jiaozi. Fu and Fu are homophonic, which means that Fu is auspicious and rich.
