05 Odyssey Throttle Manual Reset Method

Generally, there are three methods: manual, power off and diagnostic instrument.

Manual matching, some cars use cable throttle. It can be matched manually after changing the throttle. Turn on and turn off the key of the ignition switch several times in a row, and the on-board computer will delete the memory of the crude oil door, store the data of the new throttle and hit the vehicle. When the vehicle runs normally, the matching is completed.

2.

Power-off matching: After changing the throttle, disconnect the negative electrode of the battery and wait for one minute before installation. In this process, the original memory of the on-board computer will be erased, the factory settings will be restored, and the vehicle will start to run normally and the matching will be successful. This method is only suitable for low-grade cars, not high-grade cars.

Diagnostic instrument matching, after changing the throttle, you can use the special diagnostic instrument for the car to match. After entering the system, select the action test and click the adaptive value reset to zero. Do this several times in a row, and the vehicle will start running normally, indicating that the matching is successful.
