What does it mean to count volts?

Every summer from mid-July to mid-August is a unique solar term in China. "crouching" means being forced to hide underground, which is the hottest time of the year. Starting from the summer, according to the arrangement of dry and branch days, the third Geng Day is the first month. How to determine the first day of several volts

In the mouth of the people in northern China, there is a mantra called: "Summer solstice is three Geng, and the number of people falls", which is the way to determine the first day of the first autumn. So, what is the third watch? This has to start with the ancient calendar in China. The method of recording the year, month and day in ancient China was heavenly stems and earthly branches.

Xungan refers to: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, Xin, n and C.

These twelve meanings are: Zi, Ugly, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai.

The combination of ten heavenly stems and twelve earthly branches, such as Jia Zi, Yi Chou, Bing Yin ... Gui You, Jia Xu, Yi Hai ... 60 is a cycle that goes on endlessly.

According to the above determination method, it shows that the date of several volts (the first day of the first volt) is uncertain, and the number of days from summer to the future is also uncertain. If the day of the summer solstice is Geng Day, then the number of days of the third Geng Day is twenty days. If the summer solstice is the second day of Geng Day, it will take nine days to reach the first Geng Day and twenty-nine days to reach the third Geng Day. Therefore, the volt number (the first day) is between summer and the twentieth day to the twenty-ninth day in the future.

On the other hand, during the forty-five days from summer solstice to autumn, it is between 20 and 29 days because of the uncertainty of the number of days between summer solstice and the first day. Therefore, from the summer solstice to beginning of autumn, if there are four Geng days, it will be ten days. If there are five Geng days, it will be 20 days. Because the first Geng Day after beginning of autumn is the first day of the last autumn, this cannot be changed.
