Shepherdess's lunch is porridge boiled with millet and various fruits collected on the mountain, which is really delicious nectar for Sakyamuni who has not seen water and rice for many days. After that, he regained his vitality and refreshed himself. He took a bath in the Nellian River, then sat quietly under the bodhi tree and meditated. He became a Buddha in early December. Since then, whenever the seventh day of the twelfth lunar month comes, the monks in the temple will take fresh cereal, wash their utensils, set out all night, and cook mature porridge at dawn to worship Buddha.
