How to adjust the valve clearance of automobile?

The standard gasket is used to compensate the clearance on the valve ejector pin by measuring the valve clearance value during assembly, but a new gasket is needed after wear. There are two ways to adjust the valve clearance:

1. Adopt hydraulic ejector pin, and automatically adjust the gap through the hydraulic ejector pin. If the hydraulic ejector rod is not broken, no adjustment is needed.

2. Adjust the screw compensation clearance on the rocker arm when the valve is completely closed.

When adjusting the valve clearance, it must be adjusted according to the value specified by the manufacturer, and the valve should be completely closed. Adjust the position of valve clearance: the side engine is on the tappet and the top engine is on the rocker arm. Common valve adjustment methods include: cylinder-by-cylinder adjustment method, secondary adjustment method, expression method and so on. However, due to the different types of engines, the arrangement order of intake and exhaust valves is also different. Adjusting the valve clearance by the above method is inconvenient to remember and complicated. And if you don't know the ignition sequence (or injection sequence) of the engine, it will be more troublesome to adjust.
