What control is used when the electronic control system of gasoline engine is just started?

When the engine load is small, the possibility of deflagration is zero, so the electronically controlled ignition system adopts open-loop control mode within this load range. When the engine load exceeds a certain value, the electronic ignition system will automatically switch to the closed-loop control mode.

Various sensors input the detected engine air intake, rotational speed, crank angle, throttle opening, engine temperature and other signals into the electronic control unit ECU. After the ECU processes, calculates, compares, analyzes and judges the signals, it will send control instructions to the executive parts to make the engine fuel injection and ignition system work in the optimal or set range.

Ignition advance angle control is also called ignition timing control. There are two kinds:

① Control of ignition advance angle when starting. When the engine is started, the electronic control unit does not adjust and control the optimal ignition advance angle, but starts the ignition with a fixed ignition advance angle according to the speed signal of the gasoline engine.

② Optimal ignition advance angle control after starting is that after the engine is started, the electronic control unit should calculate and control the optimal ignition advance angle in real time.

The control of the closing angle, also known as the control of the power-on time, is to adjust the closing angle according to the speed of the gasoline engine and the battery voltage to ensure sufficient ignition energy.
