The Relationship between Yuanxiao and China's Natural Environment

Lantern Festival is the first traditional festival in China after the Spring Festival. Although it is still cold in winter, judging from the 24 solar terms, after beginning of spring, beginning of spring should be considered as spring.

Lantern Festival began in the Western Han Dynasty. After the death of Emperor Gaozu Liu Ying, Lv Hou usurped the throne, and the Lushi family dominated the state affairs. After Lv Hou's death, Minister Zhou Bo Chen Ping and others swept away the Lushi people and elected Liu Heng as the emperor. Because this day happens to be the fifteenth day of the first month, whenever this day, Liu Heng will go out of the palace to have fun with the people and make this day the Lantern Festival.
