Wuling Xing Chi engine is equipped with the world-advanced all-aluminum MZR engine, which is a high-quality inline four-cylinder engine. This MZR engine is still equipped with Mazda's unique sequential valve timing system, variable intake manifold system, electronically controlled throttle and variable eddy current control system technology. The maximum power is still 1 10kW, and the peak torque remains at the previous level of 182Nm.

The maximum power of the engine is110kw (150ps), which is matched with a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic gearbox.

Hong Guang adopts DOHC double-top camshaft and four valves per cylinder design technology, in which 1.4L engine can achieve 75KW/6000rpm power and 16 1NM/4200rpm maximum torque, which is excellent among similar engines, and it is a general-purpose T-PEC global strategic engine.
