When is spring in the south?

Beginning of spring, one of the twenty-four solar terms in China, means the beginning of spring. The time is from February 3rd to 5th, when the sun is at 315th. The period from this day to the long summer is called spring.

Spring is three months from that day in beginning of spring to the day before the long summer. For example, from 20 1 1 beginning of spring this year, from 4 February 12: 32 to 5: 20 on 6 May in the long summer, these three months are spring.
