What month is Qiu Zhongqiu's dream and Qiu Ji?
Qiu Meng is in July, Mid-Autumn Festival is in August and Qiu Ji is in September.
The ancients used Meng, Bo, Zhong, Shu and Ji in order, which is equivalent to one, two and three now. Among them, Meng Hebo represents the first one; Clock means second; Uncle and Ji have a later meaning. When the ancients said four seasons, they also used Meng, Zhong and Ji. There are three months in autumn, the first is Qiu Meng, the second is Mid-Autumn Festival, and the third is Qiu Ji. The moon in Qiu Meng is very cold, the swan goose appears on the moon in Mid-Autumn Festival, and frost begins to fall on the moon in Qiu Ji.
In fact, there are three stages in each season, and the lunar year is divided into twelve months. They are: Meng Chun, Midspring, Ji Chun, Xia Meng, Midsummer, Late Summer, Qiu Meng, Midautumn, Qiu Ji, Mengdong, Midwinter and Jidong.
