The intake pressure sensor can be cleaned, but it can't be cleaned with water, so it needs to be cleaned with special cleaning agent. The specific cleaning steps are as follows:

1. Open the engine cover.

2. Find the intake pressure sensor on the intake pipe.

3. The sensor is fixed with screws. After removing the screw, slowly pull out the sensor, and then remove the signal connection cable.

4. There will be sludge on the sensor head, and special cleaning agent should be sprayed.

5. Dry it after cleaning and put it back.

Principle of intake pressure sensor

The intake pressure sensor is connected with the intake manifold through a vacuum tube, or directly installed on the intake manifold behind the throttle. It detects the absolute pressure of the intake manifold behind the throttle. It detects the change of absolute pressure in the manifold according to the engine speed and load, and then converts it into signal voltage and sends it to the ECU. The ECU controls the basic fuel injection quantity according to the signal voltage.
