The custom of Lishui Spring Festival

The custom of Lishui Spring Festival is to grab the pig festival and run lanterns.

On holidays, after fasting, there are many festive activities all on stage. The "Pig Snatching Festival" is a folk competition held by the She nationality for a bumper harvest in Qingfeng, and it is a unique folk custom in Jingning, the hometown of the She nationality, which has been passed down from generation to generation.

The "Pig Snatching Festival" consists of two parts: "Meeting God" and "Snatching Pig". Before the pig snatching, the village would invite the troupe to perform for seven days and seven nights, and it was not until the last day that firecrackers, gongs and drums and music were prepared, and a sacrificial banquet was arranged to sacrifice the fairy Ma Niangniang. Pigs raised by every family are required to be slaughtered the day before meeting God.

The next day, when Mao arrived, the "commanding pig" in the temple crowed for the first time, and the whole village raised the pig and went straight to the palace. The pigs that were first carried to the palace gate were placed at the main entrance of Ma Xian Palace, called "the first pig", and the others were placed in order.

Each village selected some venerable old people to evaluate pigs. The largest pig was named Tuo pig, and the youngest was named Chang pig. After the three pigs "Shou", "Tuo" and "Chang" are confirmed, they will hold a parade to celebrate. After the parade, the singing class blew all the way and sent three pigs back to their owners' home. The host family invited three relatives and six relatives to eat "killing pigs". Through the "hog festival", it indicates that the coming year will be good weather, abundant crops and prosperous livestock.

Lantern: a children's performance that has been handed down for hundreds of years.

At the intersection of Jieyuankeng and water, there is a mountain named "Bajiao County". The rolling mountains from south to north, like a fine horse trying to jump over a stream, stick to the banks of Shicang River. At the foot of the mountain is a long and narrow creek beach, where the municipal intangible cultural heritage and Xiabao Natural Village, the birthplace of mountain lanterns, are located.
