1, New Year's Day
New Year's Day 65438+ 10/and 65438+1 0.2 are public holidays stipulated by the state. Korean New Year has the customs of stick grilles and Fu Tao. At the dawn of new year's day, people put some money into the scarecrow tied in advance and throw it at the crossroads to show that evil is driven away and good luck is ushered in. On New Year's Day, Korean girls will wear a hemp hat as a blessing towel on their heads and put on colorful clothes for a swing competition.
2. Spring Festival
The first day of the first lunar month is one of the biggest traditional festivals in Korea. On this day, the whole family dressed in national costumes held a ceremony to worship their ancestors. Public holidays are from the first day to the third day. During this period, Koreans will go back to their hometown to visit relatives, worship their ancestors and have a family reunion dinner.
3. Western Valentine's Day
Every February 14, Korean girls send chocolates to their favorite boys. On this day, boys will invite their girlfriends to dinner, watch movies and express their love.
4. Good days
Influenced by Japan and Taiwan Province Province of China, South Korea also defines March 14 as white day, which is a love festival corresponding to Valentine's Day in February 14. On this day, boys will send beautifully packaged candy and roses to girls.
5. Arbor Day
On April 5, government officials, teachers, students and thousands of Koreans across the country planted trees according to the government's afforestation plan.
6. Children's Day
South Korea holds Children's Day on May 5th, and children can visit parks, zoos and museums for free.
