Zhao Yan land refers to where?

Zhao Yan refers to Hebei Province today. In people's usual consciousness, "Zhao Yan" is often another name for Hebei. In fact, the ancient land of "Zhao Yan" also includes four counties in the north of Beijing and Tianjin, and some areas around Zhao Yan in the north of Shaanxi, the north of Henan and the south of Inner Mongolia. People call this land "Zhao Yan" to show its long history. According to China's earliest geographical work Yu Gong, "Zhao Yan" belonged to Jizhou in ancient times. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was Yan and Jin, and in the Warring States Period, it was Yan, Zhao, Zhongshan, Wei and Qi. Qin set up Shanggu, Yuyang, Youbeiping, Dai, Julu, Handan, and Hengshan counties. The ancient Yanzhao culture and simple and unrestrained folk customs have created Zhao Yan's chivalrous demeanor passed down from generation to generation.
