When the automobile oil pump is not pumping oil, it should be repaired in time to prevent the fault from expanding. This is through the inspection of the car, to initially determine the location of the fault, and then analyze the oil pump, diagnose the location, cause and degree of the oil pump problem, and analyze the automobile oil pump to solve the problem.

1) The plunger and plunger sleeve are worn. During use, mechanical impurities in fuel enter the fuel injection pump cavity, causing abrasive wear. Coupled with the corrosion of fuel, the gap between plunger and sleeve increases, and fuel leaks from the gap between plunger and sleeve during the oil pressure stroke, resulting in insufficient or no oil supply.

2) Wear of oil outlet valve. The mechanical impurities in fuel, under the scouring of high-speed flow, cause the wear of oil outlet valve, pressure relief belt or valve seat, and the seal is not tight, which makes the residual pressure in high-pressure oil pipe insufficient. When the fuel injection pump pumps oil again, part of the fuel supplements the pressure in the high-pressure oil pipe, so the fuel supplied to the cylinder is insufficient, and no oil is supplied in severe cases.

3) The oil outlet valve spring fails. The spring of the oil outlet valve makes the oil outlet valve fit closely with the valve seat. The seal is reliable to prevent the fuel from flowing back from the high-pressure tubing. If the spring of the oil outlet valve is tired, the elastic force decreases, and the one-way interception effect of the oil outlet valve becomes worse, resulting in oil backflow. The results and reasons are the same as those described in 2).

4) Insufficient pressure in the low-pressure oil circuit. The low-pressure oil circuit of the fuel injection pump has a certain oil pressure to ensure that the fuel can quickly enter the pump cavity, and the fuel injection pump needs oil. If the pumping capacity of the fuel transfer pump is reduced or oil is not pumped, or the diesel filter and oil circuit are blocked, or air enters the fuel system, the oil pressure in the low-pressure oil circuit of the fuel injection pump will be reduced or even no pressure will be generated. When the fuel injection pump is working, the fuel can't quickly enter the cavity of the fuel injection pump, resulting in no or insufficient fuel injection.

5) When the oil quantity adjusting lever or governor is stuck in the position of reducing oil supply or not supplying oil, the effective stroke of the fuel injection plunger is reduced or zero, resulting in insufficient or no oil supply for the fuel injection pump.

6) The acceleration adjusting mechanism of the engine is stuck or improperly adjusted, and the pressure acting on the governor spring is reduced, so that the fuel supply of the fuel injection pump is limited by the governor, that is, the fuel supply is insufficient.

7) plunger spring failure. If the plunger spring is fatigued or broken due to long-term compression, it can't guarantee the plunger to return in time and the good contact between the roller and the cam. The plunger stroke becomes smaller, resulting in insufficient or no oil supply.

8) Wear or improper adjustment of the cam and roller will reduce the plunger lift, resulting in insufficient oil supply; Damage to the camshaft bearing causes the camshaft to move radially (downward), which leads to the decrease of pump oil pressure, which leads to the decrease of oil supply.

9) The column pair is stuck mainly because the clearance between plunger and sleeve is too small or the viscosity of diesel oil is too high; Improper adjustment of the roller body (too high adjustment), when the plunger is lifted, its top will collide with the oil outlet seat and become thicker, and it will be stuck in the plunger sleeve and will not supply oil.
