With the approval of the State Council, the first China Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival (hereinafter referred to as the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival") was hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the Sichuan Provincial Government, and undertaken by the Chengdu Municipal Government, the Provincial Department of Culture and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center.
It will be grandly opened in Chengdu on May 23rd. This is the first international festival to protect intangible cultural heritage in China and the world. "Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival" is not only initiated in China, but also in the world.
From May 23rd to June 10, the theme of "Non-legacy Festival" is "Inheriting national culture, communicating human civilization and building a harmonious world together".
