Information application

The information application of IOS can learn from Facebook's Messenger application-Yan Wen, mass message reading receipt, support for sending photos and positioning. But what I hope most is that Apple can transplant the digital touch function on Apple Watch to information applications.

I can understand that these new features are unique to Apple Watch, but once these notifications are all arranged with other reminders, users can easily ignore them, and users can't see the reminders or content on the iPhone. Information applications are ideal for watching graffiti and heartbeats. IPhone6s has also joined Taptic Engine, so it can also send heartbeat.

Calendar application

In calendar application, I really hope that it can have the following three characteristics: it can use natural language to input and add itineraries, it can browse schedules based on time flow view, and it can provide calendar views of the whole year from time to time to check the dates of other months. At present, there are many third-party applications that do better than Apple in these aspects. Apple's calendar application can provide a calendar view of the whole year, and the application icon will display the date of the day, but it does not support natural language input, so the view design for viewing the itinerary is unreasonable.

It is for these reasons that I think the best calendar applications on iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac are fantastic. I really can't figure out why Apple can't pay more attention to calendar applications.

Photo application

As a father, iPhone is now my camera with me. As soon as I have time, I will arrange the photos in the album and make them into postcards, calendars or screensavers. For me, iCloud photo gallery can be said to be conscientious: synchronize photo galleries on all my devices, including editing and photo albums, to make room for devices with low remaining capacity.

However, there are still some shortcomings in iCloud photo gallery, such as the arrangement of family photo albums and the sharing of photo stream established by family enjoyment function, which is not the answer I want. Google's photo app does a better job in this respect. It has shared photo albums. Users don't need to create a special photo album for * * * to enjoy photos. Users only need to create an album at hand, and then they can choose to enjoy the album with their family and friends. Although the steps are still a bit complicated and can't completely solve the problem of family enjoying photos, at least the direction is right.

As I said above, I am a father, and my children grow up in the blink of an eye. I want to record every moment of their growth, so I take photos of them every day, enjoy photos and often use camera applications. Generally speaking, I am satisfied with the camera application, but I seldom use filters or square cameras. You can also cancel the filter when editing, but if it is square, it is very helpless.

I hope Apple will use other modes instead of filters and squares. The ratio of 16:9 is really universal, but I hope the camera can automatically put photos and videos into a special album. Suppose users use shared photo stream in family photos and videos: This function will be more practical if there is a special mode of photo stream in the camera. Set "Home Camera" as the default mode when traveling; Square photos are used in some special occasions.

Weather application

At present, the weather application design is very beautiful, and Apple specially designed the landscape mode on the iPhone6 Plus/iPhone6s Plus. At present, there are not many applications that are better than weather applications on the iOS system. Even so, I think there is still room for improvement in weather application. In addition, I hope that the application on the iPad can do the same.

Clock application

Do you know that when setting an alarm clock in the clock application, you can choose your favorite song as the alarm clock? It should be good to wake you up every morning with your favorite song instead of the harsh bell. But if you are awakened by this song every day, maybe your favorite song will become the most annoying one day. I think it would be better if I could choose a playlist as a random alarm. You can instruct Siri to choose your playlist from Apple Music as a reminder.

map

I often use the Apple Maps app and rarely encounter problems, but I still prefer it to have street view mode every time I go to a new place. Fortunately, I still have Google Maps as a backup resource on my iPhone. Maybe one day Apple's map will also have street view mode. At the same time, I also hope that Apple Maps can add these new functions, which is much easier than "loading" the whole world on Apple Maps: real-life road navigation, intelligent traffic advice and multi-point routes.

Google Maps Road Navigation used to only support mid-range and high-end dedicated GPS devices, but now it has become more and more common. On Apple Maps, 100 miles of road navigation will have a "go straight" prompt. The map service in CarPlay is not bad, but it would be better if there were more voice prompts. The map also has traffic suggestions, providing users with multiple optional routes.

Finally, when you travel, the map application will help you plan your route. For example, if you drive from A to B, and there are other scenic spots, it will provide you with multiple routes. You can choose to go around and visit the scenic spots between AB, or you can go directly from A to B without going around. It can also help you calculate how much fuel you need for this trip. In general, Apple Maps can add many new functions.

Wallet application

It is reported that Apple Pay will launch personal transfer service on 20 16, which is exactly what I hope wallet application can support. It is reported that iMessage will support personal transfer business, but I think wallet application should naturally support this function. Another idea: I want to save the front and back photos of my driver's license and medical insurance card in the wallet application, and use the touch ID to protect them. I'm still encrypting memos with 1 password, and I think wallets are also applications that need this encryption function. There may not be many people like me who want to keep their driver's license and medical insurance card in their wallets, so Apple may not consider this feature yet.

Memo application

The memo application in iOS9.3 can be said to have been significantly updated, with touch id and password protection. Next, I think Apple can consider supporting users to enjoy some memos between family and friends. At present, some users can enjoy the shopping list through reminders, and it would be better if the memo also has this function.

IOS9 and Proactive enable mobile phone applications to handle unknown numbers more intelligently. If the incoming call is not saved in your address book, but the number is saved in your local iCloud mail, the phone application will try to find out the user identity of the call. I've experienced it once before, but it's usually faster to search online by myself.

Wouldn't it be better if there was a caller ID function? Users who look up a phone number from the Internet may not agree with it, but if the phone application supports you to search for the user identity of an unknown number from the Internet, it should be more convenient than copying and pasting my own search at present.

FaceTime

One last request about FaceTime: FaceTime video information. Technically, this function already exists, but it didn't appear in the way I hoped. When you want to make a FaceTime call with the other party and the other party doesn't answer, the application will support you to use the information application to send messages to the other party. This is good, because you can send iMessage text, photos and even record videos, but reminders and information content are bound to iMessage instead of FaceTime, which may lead to confusion. The other party doesn't know that he didn't receive your FaceTime call request. If the caller can send a short video message and the receiver knows that he has received the FaceTime video message, this is a relatively mature system, which can stimulate users to use this function more.

I still have a lot to say about the applications that come with the iOS system. For example, I hope iCloud Drive can connect with Drodbox; The game center can put the settings directly, not an independent application; Of course, I also hope that Apple will only provide a few of its own applications, and the remaining 75% will be downloaded by users themselves.

IPad Pro needs to be improved. Many applications used on this device are a waste of space, a big blank. On the iPhone6/iPhone6s Plus model, the built-in application should support landscape mode, and the application of the new iPad should support split-screen view. Although these are only minor updates, they will give users a different experience.
