How to clean the scooter?

Many motorcycle friends are diligent in changing oil, but they don't know enough about the importance of cleaning carburetor. Some don't clean once a year. After the carburetor is used for a long time, there are a lot of deposits and colloids in the measuring hole, and a lot of impurities or water are mixed in the float chamber. This is also one of the possible reasons for the motorcycle's difficulty or inability to start, slow throttle response, high fuel consumption and weak acceleration. Even if some cars can start, they don't run smoothly. So the carburetor should be cleaned every 5000 kilometers.

No special tools are needed to clean the carburetor, but the following tools and equipment should be prepared: carburetor cleaner, cross screwdriver, flat screwdriver, 8 or 10 ring wrench and sleeve 7, all of which are common tools.

The tools are ready. Come with me and I'll teach you with my hands. If you have no experience, you will feel it after holding the picture for several times.

Step 1: First, remove the carburetor from the motorcycle and close the oil and oil pipes. Unscrew the nut connecting the carburetor with the engine with Torx 8 or Torx 10 (depending on the size of the nut), then unscrew the screw connecting the carburetor with the filter, and finally remove the throttle pipe. Shut off the oil and pipeline.

Close the fuel tank.

Step 2: Remove the carburetor float chamber and unscrew the three screws of the carburetor float chamber cover with a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3: Understand the names and functions of various parts of carburetor. After the carburetor is disassembled, let's know its component names.

Step 4: Remove all parts of the carburetor, and remove the main fuel injection hole, idle fuel injection hole and carburetor float.

Step 5: Start cleaning the carburetor. Spray carburetor cleaner on each measuring hole, and flush the float chamber sludge of all measuring holes. Be careful not to aim directly at the carburetor when spraying, so as not to spray the cleaning agent on your eyes. This thing is very harmful to the eyes. Don't blame me for not reminding you.

After cleaning, the carburetor can be installed. Then we can put him in the car. Try it and see if your car is rejuvenated.
