In the past, people looked forward to festivals, because they could have delicious food to get everyone together, so people would have better expectations. Nowadays, people's lives are very rich, and the delicious food they used to eat on holidays can now be eaten every day, so people don't have much expectation for festivals.

Now the only feeling that people look forward to the festival is that they can have a holiday and rest. So the festive atmosphere will be much lower. After the holiday, many people will rest and sleep, have dinner with friends, or go out for a trip. Because people's lives are very busy now, and they eat a lot of food every day, so people expect to relax and have a rest after that, so that they can combine work and rest. Therefore, it's not that people nowadays don't want to take vacations, but that people nowadays do. Now people hope to relax after looking forward to the holiday. As for the festive atmosphere, it is naturally lighter.

Every holiday, I miss my family more. For people nowadays, the only festival I am looking forward to more may be the Spring Festival. Because the Spring Festival holiday will be longer, people can relax more thoroughly and relieve the fatigue of a year's work, so everyone will be full of expectations for the Spring Festival. The atmosphere of the Spring Festival is also slightly reduced, and people are more inclined to eat or drink together. Now the Spring Festival is not as lively and happy as the Spring Festival when I was a child. But we are still looking forward to having a moment like the Spring Festival, which can still make us feel the beauty of reunion.

Today's festival is still very important to us. I am also looking forward to this festival. I will buy moon cakes for myself on Mid-Autumn Festival, and I will call my family to chat. Just because the atmosphere of the festival has changed doesn't mean we have to go home together. We may use voice or video to communicate with our family.
