What is the origin of time?
Beijing time was not determined in Beijing, but was achieved through the precise comparison calculation of 9 cesium atomic clocks and 2 hydrogen maser stations in the National Time Service Center (National Time Service Station) of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Lintong and Pucheng, Shaanxi, and the real-time comparison was made with time service departments around the world through satellites. Beijing time is the average solar time of east longitude 120 degrees, not the local average solar time in Beijing. The geographical location of Beijing is116Degrees 2 1', so its local average solar time is about 14 minutes later than Beijing time. Beijing time is 8 hours earlier than world standard time. The time service station is located in pucheng county, Shaanxi Province, which mainly includes the standard time standard frequency transmitting station and broadcasting station (code name BPM and BPL respectively) for short-wave and long-wave special radio.
The earth is divided into 24 equal parts every week, and each equal part is a time zone. Such a time zone is longitude 15 degrees. 24 hours a day, so a time zone is one hour apart. The time of longitude zero, namely the prime meridian, is the world standard time. Because the meridian passes through the original site of Greenwich Observatory in London, England, it is called Greenwich Mean Time [1], which is also the standard time in Britain. The longitude of Beijing is 1 16 degrees 2 1 minute, so it is in the eighth time zone east of the meridian. Which is the Dongba time zone. 8× 15= 120, so the time zone of Dongba is east longitude 120 degrees, which is Beijing time.
"Beijing time" is the time zone of Dongba time zone used in China, and the longitude of the central meridian of this time zone is east longitude 120. According to the division method of the original site of Greenwich Observatory in London, England, and the geographical location of China, although China spans five time zones, it is mainly located in the East Sixth Time Zone, the East Seventh Time Zone and the East Eighth Time Zone. The longitude of the central meridian in these three time zones is 90, 105 and 120 respectively. If China is located in Dongwu time zone west of East longitude 82.5, the same standard time as Dongliu time zone will be adopted. When the East Kowloon time zone east of East longitude 127.5 adopts the same standard as the East Eighth time zone. The use of these three time zones covers the whole country, which basically meets the requirements of taking the time in transit as the time standard. When "Beijing time" is still the Dongba time zone standard, Dongba time zone and Dongba time zone adopt standard time 1 hour and 2 hours later than "Beijing time" respectively, and the time names can be named "Chongqing (municipality directly under the Central Government) time" and "Xinjiang Tibet time" respectively. Or name the standard time names of Liu Dong time zone, Dong Qi time zone and Dongba time zone as "Western Time", "Central Time" and "Eastern Time" respectively.
