What is the indication that the electronic throttle is broken?

The fault of electronic throttle in Pacific Auto Network may lead to the lighting of engine fault light, engine idling jitter and instability, low-speed flameout and so on.

There may be other phenomena: poor throttle control, poor engine acceleration and weak acceleration; The phenomenon of shift delay and shift shock will occur in automatic transmission vehicles.

Throttle fault diagnosis:

Check the engine module with a computer diagnostic instrument, and generally do not need to replace it when there is no permanent fault code; Read the data flow of the throttle, and check the two position sensors of the throttle and the throttle opening. When the throttle opening is large, remove the carbon deposit first, and then initialize the throttle.

There is poor wiring connection, open circuit or short circuit between throttle position sensor and motor. If the contact is poor, check whether the accelerator harness connector is rusted or flooded, and whether the connector patch is widened; If there is an open circuit or a short circuit, check the circuit related to the throttle valve, which can be judged by measuring the voltage and the on-off of the circuit.

If there is too much carbon in the throttle, check whether the air filter is too dirty. After removing the carbon deposit on the throttle, the throttle must be initialized.
