How to remove Buick Angola throttle and how to clean Angola throttle

Disassembly method of Buick Angola throttle:

1. Remove the connector between the intake pipe and the air cleaner box and use pliers.

2. Remove the crankshaft ventilation pipe and use the T20 internal wrench.

3. Disassemble the empty filter box and break it by hand, then you can clean the upper part of the throttle valve. For thorough cleaning, please remove four screws and remove the throttle valve.

Cleaning method of throttle valve in Angola:

Step 1: Prepare tools: a 10 small wrench (remove the battery terminal), a large Phillips screwdriver (remove the air inlet elbow), a T30 internal wrench (remove the throttle) and a bottle of carburetor cleaner.

Step 2: Remove the throttle inlet elbow.

Step 3: Unplug the throttle harness plug.

Step 4: Remove the throttle body.

It is suggested that the function of automobile throttle is to control the intake air, and the throttle position sensor can automatically control the fuel quantity. In other words, it is the device that controls the throttle.

Classification: one is a semi-mechanical and semi-electronic throttle controlled by a cable, and the other is an all-electronic throttle with a signal from a sensor. Throttle opening is calculated by computer according to intake air volume and sensor angle.
