How to adjust the diesel valve?

There are several methods to adjust the valve of diesel engine, but the valve adjustment amount of each model is different, and the valve clearance should be adjusted in cold state. Now introduce a common adjustment method.

1: Adjust the throttle of diesel engine to the maximum fuel supply position. If it is electromagnetic oil supply, DC power supply needs to be connected.

2. Open the valve cover, remove the high-pressure oil pipe of the first cylinder, and blow off the excess diesel oil in the oil pipe on the oil pump for easy observation.

3. Press the diesel engine to turn the steering wheel to move the flywheel (with a small crowbar), and pay attention to observe whether there is just oil coming out of your first cylinder high-pressure oil pipe. If there is, it can be adjusted.

Remember to find your first cylinder (usually near the radiator). At this time, the intake valve and exhaust valve of the first cylinder are at the piston top dead center position, which is the fuel injection position. Adjust with a feeler gauge (rear thin gauge), loosen the lock nut on the rocker arm, and adjust according to your required size. After a cylinder is finished, and so on, until it is finished. Of course, if there are more than 8 cylinders, this method will be more troublesome and can be adjusted by formula.
