Will it be the Year of the Loong next year?

Next year (lunar year 2024) is the Year of the Loong.

Next year, in 2024, the lunar calendar will be the Year of the Loong, with heavenly stems and five elements belonging to wood, earthly branches living in Laban Xiao and five elements belonging to earth. It should be noted that the dragon belongs only after the solar terms in beginning of spring.

Lunar calendar is a traditional calendar in China. It takes the change period of the moon phase as the length of the month, and adds the "24 solar terms" component of the dry calendar. This is a calendar based on the lunar calendar and integrated into the solar calendar component. Strictly speaking, it shouldn't be called the lunar calendar, but the yin-yang calendar.
