Is October early autumn or late autumn?

Late autumn is the end of autumn, and September in the lunar calendar is the month after autumn. In late autumn, the weather began to get cold, leaves turned yellow, dew condensed and frost flowers appeared.

Different regions are divided in different ways, some according to the 24 solar terms, some according to the lunar month, and some according to meteorological standards. Generally speaking, according to the 24 solar terms, the early autumn should be between beginning of autumn and the Millennium, the Mid-Autumn should be between the Millennium and the cold dew, and the late autumn should be between the cold dew and beginning of winter. According to this method, most of October belongs to late autumn.
