Which province is Qidong?

Qidong, a municipality directly under the Central Government of Jiangsu Province and managed by Nantong City, is located on the north side of the Yangtze River estuary, surrounded by water on three sides and shaped like a peninsula. It is an important gateway to the sea and the earliest sunrise place in Jiangsu.

Qidong is a low-lying coastal area with flat terrain and criss-crossing rivers. The topography of the micro-area is slightly undulating and slightly inclined from northwest to southeast. Daoan River is the natural dividing line between north and south landforms.
