When the ECU receives the lean mixture signal fed back by the oxygen sensor, it increases the fuel injection quantity and decreases the opening of the idle control valve, which leads to the over-rich mixture and the increase of the rotational speed, which repeatedly makes the engine idle unsteadily. The engine speed is related to the work done per unit time or the effective power of the engine, that is, the effective power of the engine changes with the engine speed. The working condition of the engine at rated power and rated speed is called rated working condition. Speed, engine speed can generally reach 700 rpm at idle speed and 3000 rpm at normal operation.
