Where is the booster pressure sensor of Volkswagen Touareg 3.0?

Hello, the booster pressure sensor is generally integrated with the temperature sensor and screwed on the pressure pipeline. This pressure pipe is located in front of the throttle assembly, and the sensor detects the pressure and temperature in this area. The engine control unit uses the signal from the boost pressure sensor to adjust the boost pressure of the turbocharger. The pressurization pressure is adjusted by the electronic pressurization positioner. The combination sensor is screwed in the charge air pipe in front of the throttle control unit. Sensors measure the pressure and temperature in this area.

The engine control unit adjusts the boost pressure of the turbocharger through the boost pressure limiting solenoid valve according to the signal of the boost pressure sensor.

The correction value of boost pressure is calculated by the signal of air temperature sensor. The influence of temperature on the density of charge air is considered here.
