When does watermelon mature?
Watermelon ripens in summer between June and September. The maturity time of watermelon is mainly determined by the growth habit of watermelon, and also influenced by different planting areas and methods. Watermelon loves high temperature environment, and it is very common to grow watermelon in tropical and subtropical monsoon climate zone. Under normal planting time, watermelons generally mature around midsummer, when most watermelons are juicy and of high quality.
If it is a watermelon planted in a greenhouse, because no matter the light, humidity and temperature can be adjusted manually, the watermelon can mature all year round.
If you go to the supermarket or fruit market to buy fruit, you can see watermelons in the market, but you don't have to worry about the freshness of watermelons. Most of these watermelons are planted in the shed, so you can eat them safely.
When eating watermelon in summer, because the temperature is too high, watermelon is easy to deteriorate, so cut watermelon should be eaten in time to avoid intestinal infection, diarrhea, abdominal pain and other symptoms caused by eating deteriorated watermelon.
