What do you want in the wild?
1, Anmiao
The custom of planting awns and protecting seedlings is a kind of farming custom activity in southern Anhui, and written records began in the early Ming Dynasty. Every season when rice seeds cover the sun, in order to pray for a good harvest in autumn, all localities should hold an Anmiao sacrifice. Every household steamed bags with new wheat flour, kneaded the flour into the shape of five grains, six animals, fruits and vegetables, and then dyed it with vegetable juice as a sacrifice, praying for the bumper harvest of five grains and the safety of the villagers.
Step 2 marry a tree
The awn seed is a busy farming season, and Shanxi Ronghe began to harvest wheat and barley, which the locals call "busy farming". There is a proverb that says: "Mai Huang is busy with farming, and the woman builds the house." Therefore, in this solar term, women also have to go down to the fields to help them spend their "busy farming". In Yanshan, Hebei, there is a custom of "marrying a tree" on "busy" days. Is to draw a few strokes on the jujube tree with a knife, indicating that more fruits can be produced.
Step 3 fight in mud
Young Dong men and women in southeastern Guizhou hold a mud festival every year before and after planting hemp. On the same day, the newlyweds, accompanied by good young men and women, collectively planted rice seedlings, playing with each other while planting rice seedlings and throwing mud at each other. After the activity, the results show that the person with the most mud is the most popular person.
Step 4 cook plums
In the south, May and June are the ripe season for plums every year. During the Three Kingdoms period, there were allusions to "childhood wine-cooking heroes". Most fresh plums are sour and difficult to eat directly. They need to be processed before they can be eaten. This process is to boil plums.
Step 5 sow in time
In agricultural production, we must hurry to plant crops in Da Chun and transplant rice seedlings in time. Therefore, people call "busy" busy. It shows that this time is already the busiest season for agricultural planting. There is a folk proverb called "it's no use planting awns", which means that this season is the late sowing period, so we must pay close attention to sowing.
