Ordos is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is located in the southwest of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, formerly known as Yike Zhao Meng. Its city borders Hohhot and Xinzhou in Shanxi Province in the east, Yulin and wuzhong in Shaanxi Province in the south, Alashan League, Wuhai, Shizuishan and Yinchuan in the west, and Baotou and Bayannaoer in the north.
