On the rise and fall of qi from the perspective of "four opposites powder" and "lifting powder"

Ascending and descending is the basic form of gasification. Abnormal ascending and descending, qi stagnation, clearing yang but not ascending, turbid yin and not descending, all diseases are caused by this.

Su Wen says: "All diseases are born of qi", which shows that the abnormal rise and fall of qi plays an important role in the occurrence and development of diseases.

"On Su Wen Liu Weizhi" pointed out: "Going in and out is ruined, and ups and downs are lonely and dangerous. Therefore, if you don't advance, you will get out, and you can't grow old; Without promotion, there will be no growing collection. " It can be seen that the regulation of qi is extremely important for human health and maintaining normal human function.

There were many prescriptions for regulating qi in ancient times. Modern doctors often regard Sini Powder and Jiang Sheng Powder as clinically important prescriptions for regulating qi, which are mostly used in various clinical diseases.

How to adjust the air conditioner and the difference between them have not been discussed for the time being. This paper discusses the following aspects to provide reference for clinical syndrome differentiation and prescription selection.

1 Sinisan

"Sinisan" comes from Zhongjing's Treatise on Febrile Diseases: "Shaoyin disease, four adverse reactions, one cough, palpitation, or dysuria, or abdominal pain, or severe diarrhea, mainly Sinisan."

Although this article comes from shaoyin disease, it has been controversial by doctors since ancient times. Some doctors believe that the pathogenesis of Sinisan syndrome is stagnation of triple energizer and qi.

"Su Wen" says: "At the turn of the three Yin, the Taiyin opens, the Jueyin closes, and the Shaoyin pivots". The "pivot" here has two meanings: first, the center and key, that is, Shaoyin is the center and key of Taiyin and Jueyin, which can be understood as the head of the three Yin; Another explanation is that this "pivot" has the meaning of running and pivoting, and it is described by opening, closing and pivoting, which is a description of the function of Shaoyin Cardinal.

Sinisan syndrome is located in Shaoyin meridian, and its pathogenesis is that exogenous pathogenic factors are introduced into meridians, Yang Qi stagnates, Yin Yang Qi and blood are out of balance, and it does not reach limbs. It can be seen that the main symptoms of Shaoyin disease are limb syncope, stagnation of liver qi, bad temper, abdominal pain and discomfort, or abdominal pain and pulse string. However, due to depression, many other syndromes of liver and spleen meridians can be seen clinically. Zhang Zhicong said that "the hinge can't be opened and closed", so the syndrome of deficiency of both liver and spleen is more common. If the cardinal is unfavorable, you will see the syndrome of disharmony between liver and spleen, which can explain many variations of Sinisan.

Later, Sinisan evolved into many variants, such as Xiaoyao San, all of which are diseases of liver and spleen, but the syndrome is caused by stagnation of liver-qi, weakness of spleen blood and loss of spleen health. Unlike Sinisan, it is a syndrome of deficiency and excess.

Another example is Chaihu Shugan Powder, which is a qi regulating agent. Its qi movement is caused by stagnation of liver qi and irregular menstruation. It is important to enhance its function of promoting qi circulation and relieving pain by adding and subtracting Sini Powder.

The normal operation of qi and blood is the premise of the normal transmission of yang. When the qi and blood are sufficient, the yang will reach, and the fire of the liver and gallbladder will rise, which can smooth the qi of the whole body and promote the operation of blood.

2 Ginger Powder

Ginger powder was first seen in Gong Tingxian's "Epidemic Gate" in the Ming Dynasty, and it was recorded as the fairy prescription of Neifu. Later, in the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Heteng included it in Treatise on Febrile Diseases as a prescription for treating summer heat. Later, in the Qing Dynasty, the physician Liang-Tso Chen changed its name to "accompanying liberation". Doctor Yang Lishan later included Shengjiang San in Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Plague.

Jiang Sheng Powder is different from Neifu Xianfang in dosage and usage, except that one is blended with yellow wine and the other is made of ginger paste pills. The composition and efficacy of other drugs are exactly the same, which proves that Yang Lishan's so-called "ancient prescription" is the "Neifu Xianfang" in Gong Tingxian's "Rejuvenation of All Diseases".

Yang Lishan said: "Big-headed plague, the foul smell of heaven's fault and people's feelings, is used to suppress burning and clear the way, also known as big-headed plague." ..... In ancient times, there were 22 taels of white muscardine silkworm fried wine, 22 taels of whole cicada slough, turmeric peeled San Qian, and 42 taels of Sichuan University yellow rice wine. Finally, a glass of cold yellow rice wine and 12 ounces of honey mixed with San Qian, and ... it can vomit, or sweat after meals, indicating that it is turbid and scattered because of its name. "

Yang Lishan mainly uses this prescription for fever. He believes that diseases are caused by miscellaneous qi, and divides the pathogenic factors of febrile diseases into turbid qi according to their nature. Clearing pathogenic factors hurts the upper energizer, while turbid pathogenic factors hurt the lower energizer.

Some people think that heat depression is the same essence of all kinds of fever and all kinds of transmission stages, so Shengjiangsan is the general prescription for treating fever. This is another expansion of the application of this recipe, which completely heats the stiff silkworm and cicada slough; Ginger helps to promote qi and blood circulation, benefit liver and gallbladder qi, and benefit exogenous pathogenic heat; The rhubarb pours down, causing the fever to drop. Bombyx batryticatus, cicada slough, turmeric and rhubarb have different natures and tastes, but they all focus on solving the main contradiction of stagnation of heat. "

3 Similarities and differences between Sini powder and ginger powder

The pathogenesis of Sini powder and Jiang Sheng powder are both depression syndrome. The depression of Sinisan is yang depression, and the depression of ascending and descending is heat depression. Their pathogenic properties are the same, but their pathogenicity and manifestations are different.

Both prescriptions are composed of heat-clearing and turbidity-reducing drugs, and Sini Powder is composed of Bupleurum and Fructus Aurantii Immaturus. Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata is beneficial to spleen and middle energizer, while Radix Paeoniae Alba is urgent to stop middle energizer. The four drugs can penetrate pathogenic factors, relieve depression, soothe the liver and spleen, make qi flow unobstructed, and clean up Yang Can.

Ginger powder is composed of stiff silkworm and cicada slough, and rhubarb and turmeric are used to reduce turbidity. Judging from its medicinal components, its medicinal properties are cold. The scope of clinical application is expanding, and the scope of application is getting wider and wider.

Sinisan mainly regulates transportation and transformation. Bupleurum chinense is the monarch drug in Sini powder, which enters the liver meridian of foot Jueyin and gallbladder meridian of foot Shaoyang, soothes the liver and relieves depression, and penetrates evil to the outside; Supplemented with Paeonia lactiflora as a minister medicine, it enters the liver meridian of foot Jue Yin, has sexual convergence, nourishes blood and softens the liver, and is compatible with Bupleurum to avoid "Bupleurum robbing liver Yin", so that Bupleurum soothes the liver and promotes yang but not excessive pungent powder, and liver blood nourishes and does not hinder qi movement; Assisting Fructus Aurantii Immaturus to lower qi and relieve depression, and ascending and descending together with the monarch drug Bupleurum, so as to clear yang, reduce turbid yin, make the airway smooth and make the qi-moving comfortable; Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch is used to regulate the qi of heart and spleen, so as to harmonize liver and spleen, and it is compatible with Radix Paeoniae Alba to form Shaoyao Glycyrrhiza Decoction, which can relieve pain and treat abdominal pain in Sini Powder. Fructus Aurantii Immaturus and Paeonia lactiflora were combined to form Fructus Aurantii Immaturus and Paeonia lactiflora powder, which solved the problem of treating one syndrome with different methods. When the liver meridian is qi stagnation, the four medicines are combined together to give drugs that nourish liver blood and liver yin. There is astringent essence and tonic in the powder, while the combination of Bupleurum and Fructus Aurantii Immaturus can rise and fall, and qi and blood can harmonize yin and yang, which can play the role of eliminating evil, soothing the liver and regulating the spleen. Judging from its composition, Sini powder is mainly based on regulating and taking, and later doctors formed Xiaoyao powder and Chaihu Shugan powder according to their prescriptions. The application of Sinisan has also been expanding from the treatment of less yin and yang depression. Later doctors applied Sinisan to treat hiccups, gallstones, constipation, diarrhea, stranguria and other diseases. Its wide range of application shows that Sini powder is accurate in compatibility and simple in medication.

The flow of qi depends on the regulation of the liver. If the liver loses the function of dispersing and discharging, the qi is abnormal, and the six fu-organs lose the function of dispersing and descending, the disease will occur. Lao Guo put forward that regulating the liver is the key link of six-fu diseases. As long as the disease and syndrome are combined and the syndrome differentiation is accurate, all six-fu diseases related to liver failure and diarrhea can be treated with Sinisan.

Ginger powder is mainly used to promote transparency and dredge stagnation.

Yang Lishan explained Jiang Sheng San in Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Plague: "Take the silkworm cicada slough, and clear the yang in the rising sun;" Turmeric, rhubarb, cloudy and cloudy, ascending and descending, internal and external harmony, and the harm of miscellaneous gas is gone! " Shengjiangsan takes stiff silkworm and cicada slough as the monarch and minister, and acts on the exterior, so that evil enters from the exterior and evil heat emerges from the exterior, thus achieving the purpose of treating diseases. Bombyx batryticatus tastes hard and thin, likes dryness and hates dampness, gains the qi of heaven and earth, and is frivolous, so it can dispel wind and remove dampness, clear heat and relieve depression; The stiff silkworm is stiff but not rotten, old and golden, while the febrile disease is hot and dry, so it can get rid of all kinds of evil spirits. Curcuma longa and rhubarb are used as adjuvants in the prescription. The compatibility of the two drugs not only reflects the compatibility of ascending and descending, but also reflects the dissipation of depressed blood. In the prescription, the medicinal properties of drugs are always cold, mainly to dispel heat and stagnation. However, stagnation of pathogenic heat will inevitably form substantial pathological products. At this time, the compatibility of turmeric and rhubarb is needed to achieve the efficacy of dispelling depression, removing blood stasis and bringing forth the new. The essence of the compatibility of this prescription is also reflected in giving different types of export of pathogenic factors, pathogenic factors with light texture, and pathogenic heat radiating from the upper jiao; Invisible excess heat, qi stagnation, qi stagnation or tangible pathological products of middle-jiao and lower-jiao can be dissipated through the lower orifices.

3.3 The difference between Ginger Powder and Sini Powder

The conditioning gas of ginger powder tends to be hot, and the thermal potential of non-four-inverse powder is incomparable; The heat dissipation of Jiang Sheng Powder is stronger than Sini Powder, and it tends to eliminate visible heat and blood stasis, and there are obvious differences in the strength of promoting scorching or clearing away heat. There are different ways to give evil. Jiang Sheng Powder is stronger than Sini Powder in dispelling pathogenic heat through propaganda, while Sini Powder mainly regulates the qi of middle energizer, which is reflected in its own transport and dissipation, and Sini Powder is stronger than Shengji Powder in regulating middle energizer. The trend of attack and tonic is different: the whole prescription of Jiang Sheng Powder is mainly to eliminate pathogenic factors, and there is no medicine to supplement deficiency and deficiency, while Sini Powder has both deficiency and attack and tonic. Sinisan is located in the liver and spleen. By regulating the qi of the liver and spleen, it can regulate the qi of the whole body to treat diseases. Shengjiangsan involves the upper, middle and lower triple energizer, and regulates the whole body's qi and blood.

four

To sum up, Sinisan syndrome is characterized by deficiency of yin and yang, and its pathogenesis is deficiency of yin, qi stagnation and blood stasis, stagnation of Yang Qi before the fourth stage, and stagnation of Yang Qi. Sini powder is a biaxial drug with less yang and less yin, which is mainly used for liver-spleen imbalance and liver depression. Can be widely used for the treatment of internal medicine diseases such as heart, liver, gallbladder, spleen and stomach and gynecological diseases, and can also be widely used for the treatment of digestive system diseases such as cholecystitis, gastric ulcer, bile reflux and hepatitis, with remarkable curative effect. The pathogenesis of Jiang Sheng Powder is stagnation of fire in triple energizer, pathogenic fire is easy to damage body fluids, and gas consumption blocks qi movement, leading to stagnation of Yang Qi. Therefore, in the process of disease development, we must grasp the key of pathogenesis, start with qi stagnation, regulate qi activity, and blood heat will dissipate. The human body is an organic whole, and the viscera are interrelated and influence each other. Zang-fu organs and meridians are distributed in the upper and lower parts of the human body, and qi, blood and body fluids run through the meridians, thus playing a corresponding role and enabling qi to move up and down normally. Su Wen's Treatise on Pain says: "All diseases are born of qi". When the qi of human body is abnormal, it will lead to human diseases. Poor qi movement can lead to visible or invisible qi stagnation, and can also lead to visible or invisible heat stagnation and blood stasis. Poor qi movement leads to many clinical diseases.
