Throttle matching method

The first thing to know is that the cable throttle does not need to match, and the electronic throttle needs to match.

1. After replacing the throttle, disconnect the negative battery for a few minutes, and the vehicle will go into hibernation. During this process, the original memory of the on-board computer will be restored to the factory settings. Then reconnect the battery negative power cord, ignition test run, and it will be normal.

2. If you have the 5053 data cable at hand, the method is as follows: VCDS 10.6.3 software, enter the "Engine" module, enter "Match", enter "000" in the channel number, and then click OK (the purpose of this is to clear the memory data of the original ECU about the throttle).

Return to "Basic Settings", enter "060" in the channel number, and click "OK". The data displayed on the right will complete the throttle matching.

The throttle with cable does not need to be matched:

Cable throttle has one more component than electronic throttle, that is, idle motor. When the fuel filler door is idling, the throttle baffle of the cable is completely closed, and the air required for idling is entered by the idling motor.

Therefore, the cable throttle has no self-adjusting ability. If you don't step on it, it will be completely closed. How much to turn on, whether it is cleaned or not, the computer always thinks that it will be completely closed without stepping on the throttle, and there is no need to match it.
