What's the climate like in the South Indian Ocean?

In the South Indian Ocean, the temperature also varies with latitude. In summer, the temperature in the South Indian Ocean is 25 ~ 27℃ near 20 south latitude, 20 ~ 22℃ near 30 south latitude, 15℃ near 40 south latitude and 0℃ near 60 south latitude. In winter, the temperature in the South Indian Ocean is 22 ~ 23℃ near 20 south latitude, 15 ~ 17℃ near 30 south latitude, 12 ~ 13℃ near 40 south latitude and as low as-/kloc near 60 south latitude. Due to the uneven temperature distribution, the climate in the Indian Ocean has also changed greatly.

The climate characteristics of the Indian Ocean are also reflected in the precipitation. The equatorial belt has the most abundant precipitation, with an annual precipitation of 2,000-3,000 mm. In addition, the seasonal distribution of precipitation is relatively uniform: in the northern Indian Ocean, the annual average precipitation is about 2,000 mm, and two-thirds of the precipitation is concentrated in the summer when the southwest wind prevails, while in the winter when the northeast wind prevails, the precipitation is less, belonging to the tropical monsoon distribution area. The annual precipitation in the Red Sea and the West Arabian Sea is very small, about 100 ~ 200 mm, belonging to the tropical desert climate zone. In the vast sea area of the South Indian Ocean, the annual precipitation is generally around 1000 mm, which shows that the equatorial belt of the Indian Ocean is rich, and the annual precipitation distribution between the South and North Indian Oceans is relatively uniform.
