What is the solar term of fright?

Sting, also called "starting sting", is the third of the 24 solar terms. When the sun reaches 345 degrees, it will cross the Gregorian calendar on March 5-6.

Sting reflects the phenomenon that natural creatures germinate and grow under the influence of rhythm changes. Spring thunder first sounded, the temperature rose, insects sprouted and the Ninth Five-Year Plan was exhausted. "Peach blossoms are blooming, and spring ploughing cannot rest." Phenology: Peach-red Li Bai, warblers singing and swallows coming, and cuckoos urging cultivation.

In the season of fright, spring is budding, and nature has a new vitality. The so-called "spring thunder" means that when the spring thunder begins to sound, it wakes up the stinging insects that are dormant in the ground for the winter. The symbolic feature of the shocking solar terms is that spring thunder suddenly moves and everything is full of vitality. From the natural phenology and climate process in various parts of China, it is found that "thunder begins with your surprise" is only consistent with the natural rhythm in some parts of southern China.

The origin of fear

At first, the sting was not called a sting, but an awakening sting. As the name implies, "Qi" is naturally the original meaning, and "Sting" is an animal dormant in winter. At this time, the animals are out, and the plants will naturally not be idle.

At this time, it is slowly entering the season of spring ploughing. The long slack time has passed, and farmers will begin to be busy with spring ploughing. After all, a year's plan lies in spring. Qi Zhe later changed his name to "Jingzhe" because in the era of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty, because Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty called Liu Qi, he was taboo, so Qi Zhe changed his name to Jingzhe, which also means "everything is shocked, so it is called Jingzhe".

Then in the Tang dynasty, there was no need to avoid it, so the name "Qizhi" was used again. However, hundreds of years have passed since the time of "respecting knowledge", and this habit has been changed, and it has been used ever since.
