How to adjust the idle speed of throttle position sensor of 2003 Accord 2.4
1. Connect the diagnostic instrument and insert a 0.45mm thick clearance gauge between the fixed SAS and the throttle lever.
2. The insertion depth shall not exceed 3mm ... Otherwise, the opening angle of the throttle lever will become larger than the predetermined angle, resulting in incorrect adjustment.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the on position, and do not start the engine.
4. Loosen the mounting bolt of the throttle position sensor, and then turn the throttle position sensor counterclockwise to the end.
5. In this state, check whether the idle position switch is in the on position with a diagnostic instrument or an ohmmeter.
6. Turn the throttle position sensor clockwise slowly until the idle position switch signal changes from on to OFF, and stop locking the fixing bolt of the throttle position sensor at this position.
7. Check the output voltage of the throttle position sensor. Standard value: 400~ 1000mV.
8. If it deviates from the standard value, check the throttle position sensor and related wiring harness.
9. Remove the thickness gauge.
10. Turn the ignition switch to the off position and remove the diagnostic instrument.
