How to solve the flow failure of Ford exhaust gas recirculation system

The electronic control unit (ECU) will monitor the operation of the exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR) in each driving cycle.

This fault code will appear when the electronic control unit (ECU) finds that the flow rate of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is higher or lower than the estimated value based on other information. Causes of failure include EGR connector, circuit failure, EGR valve failure, manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor failure and electronic control module (PCM or ECM) failure.

The way to judge whether the wastegate valve is damaged is to see whether there is engine oil in the innermost part of the throttle valve, that is, unscrew the clamp at the throttle valve, and then turn the air pipe left and right to remove it. Then wipe the calipers that pump out the oil with paper towels for later use. A good hand should push the throttle down with one finger, and then open the throttle with the other hand.

Then use the dipstick to probe into the next hole, all the way to the end, and take it out to see if there is oil on it. If it's putty or something, it's not interesting. If there is oil, the waste gas valve has been damaged.
