Tiguan always reports throttle failure.

1. There is too much carbon and dirt in the throttle and its surrounding air intake, and the cross-sectional area of the air passage changes, which makes the control unit unable to accurately control the idle intake, resulting in the mixture being too rich or too thin and abnormal combustion; 2. The throttle has oil stain or carbon deposit;

3. There is oil stain and carbon deposit at the air inlet around the throttle;

4. Idle stepper motor, air-to-air ratio solenoid valve and rotary solenoid valve have oil stains and carbon deposits;

5. The throttle motor is damaged or hairpin;

6. Failure of idle air actuator leads to inaccurate idle air control.
