Which of the 24 solar terms is it now?
Twenty-four solar terms (Twenty-four solar terms) is a knowledge system and social practice formed by China people by observing the movement of the sun for a year and understanding the changing laws of the four seasons, climate and phenology in a year. It is the product of ancient farming civilization and has been guiding the traditional agricultural production and daily life in China for thousands of years.
Twenty-four solar terms are China people's world outlook, which reveals and refines this orderly ecological change law in a year. As the main political, economic, cultural and agricultural activity centers in China are mostly concentrated in the Central Plains of the Yellow River Basin in history, the 24 solar terms were established based on this area.
The twenty-four solar terms are:
Beginning of spring, Rain, Creeping, Vernal Equinox, Qingming, Grain Rain, Changxia, Xiaoman, Mangzhong, Summer Solstice, Xiaoshu, Dashu, beginning of autumn, Chushu, Bailu, Autumnal Equinox, Cold Dew, Chufrost, beginning of winter, Light Snow, Heavy Snow, Winter Solstice, Slight Cold and Severe Cold. Among the solar terms, beginning of spring, Jingzhe, Qingming, Changxia, Mangzhong, Xiaoshu, beginning of autumn, Bailu, Hanlu, beginning of winter, Daxue and Xiaohan are silver moon, Uzuki, Chen Yue, Mitsuki, Wuyue, Yue Wei, Shenyue, Youyue, Moon, Haiyue, Ziyue and Ugly Moon.
