Is "no spring" in the Year of the Monkey not suitable for marriage? Seriously, you lost.

Today is the first of the 24 solar terms-beginning of spring, but according to the lunar calendar, it is still in the year of the sheep of 20 15. The next beginning of spring time will be February 3, 20 17, which is the seventh day of the first month of the Lunar New Year of the Rooster. This also means that there will be no beginning of spring in the Year of the Monkey, which is the legendary "year without spring"! What kind of situation is this? In addition, "no spring year" is also called "widowed year", and old people often say that "widowed year without spring is not suitable for marriage". So, can you still get married happily in the Year of the Monkey?

Why is there a phenomenon of "no spring year"? Simply put, it is because the 24 solar terms are divided according to the "rhythm" of the solar calendar, not the lunar calendar that we often use. Please read on for details.

? 1.24 solar terms and solar calendar are "a group"

Let me talk about the solar calendar first. The solar calendar is actually a solar calendar, which is calculated according to the movement period of the earth around the sun. One revolution of the earth is a year in the solar calendar, with 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds. A year is divided into 12 months. This "moon" actually has nothing to do with the moon. There are big and small months in the solar calendar. The big month is 3 1 day, the small month is 30 days, and February is 28 days. This is an average year, with 365 days. More than one day in four years, added to February of the fourth year. A year with 29 days in February is a leap year with 366 days. According to the date of the solar calendar, it is obvious that the weather is warm and cold all the year round. But every month, you can't see the new moon, the new moon, the new moon. The solar calendar is widely used, and the Gregorian calendar widely used in the world today is the solar calendar. The average length of the Gregorian calendar is only 26 seconds away from the tropic year, which needs 3300 years of accumulation. We spend every day on New Year's Day, Christmas Day, Labor Day and so on. Are they all festivals in the solar calendar? Even the constellations mentioned by girls are calculated according to the solar calendar.

So, how are the 24 solar terms determined? Twenty-four solar terms are a supplementary calendar to guide farming in ancient China, mainly based on the climate and phenology of the Yellow River basin. It can definitely be called a miracle in the history of world meteorology and astronomy (there should be applause this time). Coincidentally, although the 24 solar terms originated in ancient China, their algorithm is basically consistent with the existing solar calendar. It rotates the earth 360 degrees on the Sunday of the tropic year, and divides it into 24 equal parts on average, each of which corresponds to a solar term. Therefore, the position of the sun in each solar term is very fixed, and the date in the current solar calendar is basically fixed, just as the solar term Song said: "The first half of the year falls on June 2 1 day, and the second half falls on August 23. The dates of the two festivals are fixed every month, with a maximum difference of one or two days. " That is, the first half of the solar term is 6th and 2 1, and the second half is 8th and 23rd, with a difference of 1 ~ 2 days.

Now friends should understand that the 24 solar terms and the solar calendar are basically in step. Next, we turn our attention to the lunar calendar.

2. What are the origins of the lunar calendar and the lunar calendar?

Before introducing the lunar calendar, we should first talk about the lunar calendar separately. "Don't dawdle, isn't the lunar calendar the lunar calendar?" It is estimated that many small partners will think so. Actually, the lunar calendar and the lunar calendar are not the same thing. As we know, the ancients called the moon "lunar", and the lunar calendar was determined by the law of the moon's profit and loss. The moon is full for one month, about 29 and a half days, 30 days for the big moon, 29 days for the small moon, one year 12 months, and * * * 354 days. People who believe in Islam often use this calendar.

Obviously, the lunar calendar is about 1 1 day less than the solar calendar, and there will be a difference of more than 30 days after three years. In other words, three years after the lunar calendar, the corresponding cold and warm seasons will be "moved back" by a bright moon, which cannot fully reflect the characteristics of the four seasons. In order to overcome this shortcoming, the lunar calendar, which is widely used now, came into being. On the basis of the lunar calendar, the lunar calendar arranges 24 solar terms to guide agricultural production activities, so it is called the lunar calendar, which is actually a kind of "yin and yang calendar". To put it simply, the lunar calendar divides 24 solar terms by the movement of the sun and divides months by the change of the moon. But how to make up for the date difference between the solar calendar and the lunar calendar? The method adopted in the lunar calendar is "65438+7 leap months in 2009", that is, 7 leap months are inserted in the 19 lunar calendar. Thus 19 is 6939.60 days in the solar calendar and 6939.69 days in the lunar calendar (including 7 leap months). The difference between the two calendars 19 is only 0.09 days, and the rhythm is basically the same.

3. Why is this year "no spring year"?

With the above two points, the emergence of "no spring year" is much easier to understand. First of all, beginning of spring Day and the solar calendar are relatively fixed every year, always between February 3rd and 5th in the solar calendar. As for the lunar calendar, some lunar years have 13 months because leap months are inserted in some years. Lunar year 12 has only 354 or 355 days, and leap month year 13 has 383 or 384 days. Therefore, the date of beginning of spring is not fixed in the lunar calendar. It may appear as early as the fifteenth day of the twelfth lunar month of the previous year and as late as the fifteenth day of the first month of the following year. Therefore, beginning of spring appears twice a year in some lunar years, that is, the "double spring year"; Some years have no beginning of spring Day, that is, "no spring year". Take our past years as an example. 20 14 double beginning of spring in the year of the horse, 20 15 single spring in the year of the sheep, and 20 16 no beginning of spring in the coming year of the monkey. Schematic diagram is as follows.

Since there are seven leap months in the lunar calendar every 19 years, it can be inferred that there are seven years without beginning of spring, seven years with double beginning of spring and five years with single spring. The "spring-free year" in recent years includes the year of the tiger of 20 10, the year of the monkey of 20 13, the year of the pig of 20 19, the year of the ox of 20021,the year of the sheep of 2024 in the Year of the Loong. It can be seen that "double spring year" and "no spring year" are completely the result of calendar arrangement according to certain laws, which are normal phenomena, so friends need not be afraid.

4. Is it really inappropriate to get married in the year without spring?

Of course not (firm and unambiguous)! So, what do the old people call "I have no spring, so I shouldn't get married"?

There are many sayings about widowhood, among which the most popular one is that "widowhood without spring is not suitable for marriage". It is said that at first people simply called this year "no spring" or "widowed year", and later it was interpreted as "widowed year" according to the meaning of "widowed year", thus having the meaning of "widow". According to the old custom, spring is the season of sowing and a symbol of love between men and women. It is impossible to fall in love with spring in a year without spring, so "widowed years" is not suitable for marriage. Corresponding to the "no spring year", there are still many places that think that "double spring year" is a rare good year, which is not only suitable for marriage and children, but also the crops produced this year are more expensive. "In the spring of a year, beans are as expensive as oil."

In fact, these are speculations and interpretations of our ancestors without scientific basis, and even superstitions. Through the above introduction, we know that the "double spring year" and "no spring year" are entirely due to "man-made calendar quirks", which can be said to be a man-made phenomenon, and there is no mystery, not to mention the good or bad luck of engagement, funeral and wedding.

Therefore, as long as two people are emotionally mature and everything is ready and within the original plan, then "the year without spring" or "the year of double spring" are all floating clouds, just gallop in the sacred palace of marriage!
